And now the story of the movie itself in this What if universe (but I won't tell the ending of it).

During her travel with Ash, his younger sister Molly, Serena, Bonnie (along with her buddy, Squishy), and Clemont, Amber, Mewtwo, and the others would find a sacred cave in Kalos holding two stone statues of people in Ancient Kalos known as Jan (a fiercely determined young man) and Aila (the love of his life). They and their village were apparently in the path of Yveltal's wake of destruction. Before either of them could be destroyed, the mythical Pokemon, Celebi (who was escaping Yveltal's carnage itself), time traveled with the two of them along with it. Before anything else could be discovered, the very Pokemon they were reading about emerged, on the run from Team Rocket's top elites, Annie and Oakley. During the battle, which almost cost their Pokemon their lives, Celebi traveled through time to escape, but in the process, took them and their trainers along with it.

When they reappeared, they suddenly found themselves in the past, and in a different forest than the one they knew. The first thing the group did after recovering from a vicious battle was looking for Celebi. But to their surprise, they found a younger Ash! Along with Misty and Brock. To add to their surprise, they found out that Jan and Aila had been subject to Celebi's time traveling as well. And as if that weren't enough, they were in the crosshairs of Annie and Oakley once again (who were caught in the Time Displacement themselves), this time aided by the vicious Iron-Masked Marauder, Jessie, James, and Meowth. During the fight, Amber would notice that the latter three weren't nearly as fearsome as the Team Rocket she knew. Regardless, she knew better than to underestimate them. With the help of the Pokemon from both Past, Present, and Future, they were able to escape the clutches of Team Rocket.

During the recuperation, the group took the weakened Celebi to the Lake of Life, led on by Suicune and the other forest Pokemon who lived there. After Celebi's recovery, it eagerly showed them around the whole forest. One night, as both groups understood one another on both counts, including a brief talk between Serena and Misty about the former being his rival, Squishy would "talk" with Celebi and inform it about his own identity, though he asked it to keep it a secret from everyone.

The following morning, however, they were attacked by Team Rocket again, but this time, the Iron-Masked Marauder managed to capture Celebi with a Dark Ball, transforming it into Shadow Celebi. In not a moment too soon, it used its immense powers over nature to encase it in enormous draconian-like armour made from the forest. In the process, Jessie was inadvertently captured while the Marauder admitted he plotted to overthrow Team Rocket's leader Giovanni and conquer the world. Forming a temporary alliance with Annie and Oakley, both Ash's, his friends, Amber, Squishy, and Suicune battle to rescue Celebi from the Marauder's influence and protect the forest.

A/N: In the official story, Serena would have a render where she'd wear her old outfit along with a ponytail from the main game Pokemon Y. And also, the wallpaper with all their Pokemon, along with the villains and their Pokemon would be up soon this month as well. For now, the cast list will do.
