Description

HERE'S THE LA TUTORIAL THAT I STARTED LIKE 410, 934, 732, 809 YEARS AGO. But it's finished now.

Once you have both frames, save them IN SEPARATE FILES. Then use Photoshop or whatever to make the background transparent, and upload the first frame to Ezimba.com and then go down to 'frame animation', upload the second frame, and down the bottom, select '1/10', and for the loop count, select 'infinite'.

----> CLICK HERE TO GET THE LA FRAMES:  CLICKY! <----

Hope it's useful.

~Flareon.

Did you resize it before you made it? You HAVE to work with the original size of the sprite. If you resized it before you started working on it, then it's too late and you need to do it again. If you worked with the original size to start with, then it shouldn't have resized when you uploaded it to Iaza.

Oh, I see! xD Sorry for being rude before; I wasn't in a good mood. But when you upload things to Iaza, it shows them are very large on the page it directs you to after you upload the image, but then you click on the image, and it'll take you to a direct link, where the picture will be its proper size. ^^

That's pretty cool! Did you go to the site I recommended to animate it there? o:

Also, yay for ChalkZone! 8D

ChalkZoned In reply to GoldFlareon [2012-01-16 04:31:53 +0000 UTC]

No. xDD I animated it on Photoshop. ^^" XDD

I was going to make a plz account for it, but it won't fit for some reason as an avatar. o-O It was really weird when I tried to experiment with the sizes.

GoldFlareon In reply to ChalkZoned [2012-01-16 12:41:03 +0000 UTC]

Oh, I see! xD Well the site I suggested is really easy to use. You just need the two frames and then it does the actual animating for you.

o: Is it 50x50 pixels? I usually put my la sprites at the bottom of the 50x50 square, and it's in the middle. You gotta make sure it's the right size, otherwise it won't work. :3

ChalkZoned In reply to GoldFlareon [2012-01-16 19:47:10 +0000 UTC]

xD That might be easier than Photoshop.

And I dont believe so... I am using the La sprite's dimensions... So probably it is not 50x50. xD I tried re-sizing it, but the pixels morphed and it looked bad..

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

GoldFlareon In reply to ChalkZoned [2012-01-17 07:20:05 +0000 UTC]

xD Probably.

What you do is you copy the sprite from the place you've opened it, and make a new file in Photoshop with the correct dimensions, then you paste it within the borders and move it around to place it where you want it. :3

Say I'm using the color green(one not used in this deviation). How do I figure out which shade of green matches which shade of gray on the la?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

GoldFlareon In reply to Karmacutie [2011-12-21 22:48:29 +0000 UTC]

Well you do it pretty much the same way. If you have a scale of shades of a colour, then you open it up in Paint and keep it level but move it over to another colour, that will keep the shade pretty much the same but move it to another colour. Else, you match up the number of the shade in the palette with another palette's that-number.

how do you adjust the hands? thats the only thing i can figure out

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

GoldFlareon In reply to demolitionfoxX [2011-10-31 06:13:56 +0000 UTC]

I just use the square selection tool thing and drag it down, then mend the pixels above (or below, depending on which way you move it) with the pencil tool.

Do you need need photoshop to be able to make the background transparent? Can you not do it with paint? u.u I'm trying to do a devil and angel la and i dont have photoshop and i dont think i would know how to use it hahah The tutorial is great, it's very well explained.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

GoldFlareon In reply to omygodlol [2011-08-05 12:33:41 +0000 UTC]

No, you cannot make a background transparent with Paint. You need to use a program such as Photoshop, but you can always do it online--you can do it with iaza, actually, the site in the artist's comments that I linked you to. But thanks! Glad you found it helpful. If you really want, you could send me your la and I could make it transparent for you. ^^

How do you make is transparent on paint?

GoldFlareon In reply to Hakumei-Kuun [2011-08-26 06:26:27 +0000 UTC]

You can't. Which is why I suggested doing that with Photoshop or some other related program.
