One of my illustration projects. Basically we could do anything we wanted, so I designed concept designs of alien technology explained in an alien language ( the text doesn't mean anything, I just tried to draw it in a way that seemed like it does). For the textures I used manipulated cloud photos, and the final product was printed on rice paper to give it more tacticity when I presented it.Related content

Yes some were definitely inspired by animal bones I had seen. I liked the texture a lot, so I thought it would be cool to fashion something as if it were carved from a natural substance.

the font of the language is amazing fantastic believable and i want to learn it
the technology looks sometimes (the colored bottom right and top center) like some saddle for weird creatures, like the flying things in Cameron's Avatar
