Description Lovers is a new take on Bathing (2009). I always liked the idea, but was not satisfied with its execution.

I received a lot of constructive and inspiring feedback and here is the result.

Now, she's a blue haired water spirit while he represents earth/living things. I wanted to make the lovers more magical without affecting the atmosphere of my original attempt.

Thank you! And yes, they look more like glowing moths. But due to transparency and those little feathery tails, they might be a little bit bird-like as well.

It was a very long process to be honest. I've always loved waterfalls, so that's why I chose the setting. Also, couples are my favorite subject to paint And well, I adore fantasy, hence the watery hair and the leaves. One thing lead to another, really. Art is an exploration for me. I rarely plan it in detail because I enjoy what comes spontaneously from it. *shrug*

You've done a nice job with this pic I like the glowy effect and the way you've done the water near the people. Since you've asked for critique, 2 thinks I could mention. The first is you can see through the girl's hair even though the rest of her is opaque. 2nd is if you look at water it dosen't tend to fall straight down like that. Putting some uneveness and spray at the top of the falls and on the way down may make it look more natural. Anyway just a few thoughts, again good work with this picture (I think I remember seeing the original somewhere gimmefeedback or critique-it?)
