I realized I hadn’t watched District 9 in like… 2 weeks. NO WONDER I’VE BEEN SO UP AND DOWN. I needed my fix and stuff.So I watched it again tonight. OH DEAR SWEET LAWDY I swear this movie is better than sex.

I know! >_< ugh, darn school. Blah! Maybe it's just me, but it always seems much more dynamic when you see a movie in the theaters. Like, you can feel the "ZOMG BOOM" Bass and all that. (or whatever you want to call it. xD) Feels like you're RIGHT THERE in the action. But yes, I will have to get myself down to the theaters sometime soon. This is literally the first movie I've ever been willing to dish out money to see multiple times. It's so amazing...can't wait for the sequel. (there NEEDS to be a sequel). Anyway, I'm gonna stop talking now before I start rambling. Great job on this again!

lol speaking of school I just stayed up all night busting my ass on this animation because I put it off till the last minute like the moron I am. I finished just in time!! Normally I'd be waking up right now.
I know what you mean! I saw it twice when it was in the cinema and it's the exact same way with me. This was the only movie that has ever made me want to go back for more. And it's also the only fandom I've ever gotten into. Like HARDCORE. I'm a fangirl of many things but D9 is like my cocaine or something. My dad really likes the theater feel but not the people, so he's basially turned our basement into our own little movie theater. xD He cranks the bass up and we all sit on the couch getting jostled around whenever something blows up. Great fun! I was talking to a friend of my via micrphone and Skype and she could /hear/ the vibrations from the bass while I was upstairs talking to her. Hilarious.
If there isn't a sequel Blomkamp will have horrible rioting fans waiting on his doorstep with pitchfork and torches. THAT MAN BETTER NOT DISAPPOINT. I really hope he's not like a drug dealer... Get them hooked on the good stuff the sell them crap the rest of the time. D:
