sry, its a photoshop .ATN file and i dont think it works for gimp...
to your last question: for the first action, you need to put a graphic, for example a logo. The other actions create text layers which you can change easily.

because you scaled the black bar down a little bit. (and i thought the action made it look like this)

No I did not touch the bar only the type and opacity.

I did nothing to the size of the bar. I only changed the text.

oh ok.. then im wondering why the text is going outside the bar.
(look at the preview image to see how it worked with my photoshop).
Thats strange cause i have made the position with percentual values and the size of the bar with pixel values..
