“I… I choose to believe in you.” Leon made up his mind. “You had been sincere throughout the time we were together and we had indeed collected many flowers, thanks to your help.” Meri and Noir both nodded, agreeing to what Leon had said.

Rhodes stared back at Leon, his eyes went teary again. “T-t-thank you!”

“Be gone with you all, then.” Isolde turned, ready to leave. “Remember though, you won’t be so lucky again if you bump into me.”

Slowly, Isolde and her brigade faded into the mist. The forest became clearer; it was still very dark, though.

“We should get going too…” Rhodes’ teammate said. He put a claw on Rhodes’ shoulder, trying to calm him.

The scarf-wearing Sneasel nodded and wiped tears off his face.

With excellent guidance, they returned to the opening of the forest with ease.

“The Masked, thank you once again for believing in me.” Upon separating, Rhodes showed his gratitude once again.

“You’re not coming with us to the village?” Leon stopped and looked back to the Pathfinders.

“No, we have more important things to do. We are going to recruit our old friends here.” Rhodes explained.

“Good luck then. We look forward to being able to work with you guys again.” Leon smiled again and waved.

Rhodes leaped towards the Riolu and gave him a hug. “Thank you… thank you!”

After the goodbye hug, the teams separated and headed toward their respective destinations.
