uhm looks good and all... but you look like a Male here :/... sorry any pokemon fan can easily pick out the difference between Male and Female Pikachu... its all in the tail Q.Q Im not hating I wish I could make something as awesome as this... but, the tail Q.Q it just hurts to have a male Tail a Girl

And I'm sure you know that before Generation IV there were no differences between male and female PokΓ©mon.... you DID know that, right?

i'm currently in the process of a Pikachu cosplay as well, did you use like a clothes metal hanger? or did you buy something different? and how did you make it stand up without wanting to fall over? lol thank you :3

Hey there sweetie! I used a regular clothes metal hanger for the "skeleton" of the tail.
I also bought a belt that would fit me quite tight around my waist (this helps the skeleteon to stay still) and I attached one end of the metal hanger to the belt (You just have to spin the hanger around the belt, but be caeful not to cut yourself!) And then just put the skeleton inside of the tail and hot-glue the bottom of the tail to the belt.

Yup! One haanger was enough to keep the whole tail up straight. And my tail was quite big, haha.
You should be fine using just one!

Hangers are pretty long once you untangle them
And yup! I used pliers to untangle it and manipulate it the way I wanted, just watch out for the sharp ends! I scratched my arm working on it, haha.
The only thing I needed was the hanger and a tight belt. The belt really gives it that extra push to make it stand up tall. The tighter the belt is to your skin, the higher and more perky the tail will look.
