I'm actually going to be Pikachu for Halloween, and I'm not sure how to make the tail stick up. We have floral wire, because we couldn't find any wire hangers anywhere, but I don't know if that will work...What did you use for your tail?

That sounds like a good idea, but we already have a wire hanger in the tail and it's sewed shut. It keeps the shape and everything just fine, but the problem is, we put the tail on in the wrong place, it iooks. So now a tail sticks out of my spine. o.o

It's a very simple and cheap costume, I find it perfect for Halloween parties because well, I don't really like to spend a lot on Halloween costumes so that I can save to make a more difficult costume for conventions

Yay! Those are very good news indeed! Make sure to be careful while working with wire though, it is very strong and you might hurt/pinch yourself with it, it happened to me and it wasn't pretty ): Haha, I wish you luck!

Thank you. It went well overall, however a few adjustments still need to be made. For one, the tail is definitly not supposed to be sticking out of my spine... haha. But I'll correct this sometime soon and hopefully, I'll wear this to a future convention.

It was finished, yes, but we still need to aadjust it a little. The tail seems to stick up from the middle of my spine, which just doesn't look right. So we'll be fixing that. It otherwise turned out well.
I will be sure to take it to a con for sure once I figure out this tail dilemma.

Aw, hello there!
Yes this costume is pretty cool for halloween because is very simple and cheap, I wish you luck!
I used a metal hanger for the wiring and I had to use pincers ( I am not sure if that's the word D: ) to bend it, keep it in shape and attach it to the tail. I just sort of twilred the wire very tightly around the belt to keep it in place.

That's why its pretty simple, because I did it just for Halloween xD But I actually used it in a convention a little after :3

I made them myself with felt, wire, a headband for the ears and a belt for the tail.
They were pretty easy to make! You just need a little patience
