Sometimes I just get plain sick of fighting my computer and doing a poor, sloppy job with CGing. When I get to that point, I'd much rather do a poor sloppy job with RMRelated content

I might go to him. I'd hope he'd spare me. I've grown fond of Kelpie and I've an affection for horses anyways.

I've been looking up miscellaneous Jethro Tull trivia and rummaging for reviews(since I'm a humongous fan of this band) and stumbled upon the "Kelpie" track mention, and decided to go for a quick dA browse on a subject matter, and here you were, humming to a Jethro Tull tune...five years ago, though. Well, hail to you from the future and my compliments on your musical tastes !
Anyway, great picture - well, obviously so, you're Hibbary, after all. Your real media exploits are the only instances of artwork that can overshadow your digital creations.

Jethro Tull rocks crazy hard. Have you seen any of their concerts or anything? OMG, they are slightly frightening in the most wonderful way

I've been to one of their performances when they had graced Saint-Petersburg with their presence couple of years ago, and I must say my mind was promptly blown, but in a very cunning, subtle way. Ian Andersson always excelled at assuming an image of a reserved sophisticated gentleman - only to shatter it into smithereens with a frenzy of sly jests and rollercoaster trills a moment later. He talked quite enough in between the musical numbers, explaining this or that song's genesis, spouting British humour and cracking dirty innuendoes about the violinist lady - he even managed to squeeze in a bit of social commentary, chiding Bush's politics a little. The numbers themselves were mostly classics, with a notable "Serenade to a Cuckoo" interpretation and an incredible instrumental cover of "Kashmir" with that violinist, whose name is Lucia Micarelli and who is awesome, as a lead player. Considering they're something of an old wine among the beers of the rock music scene, the excessive wild cobwebbery of psychodelic lighting of that concert were more than slightly refreshing. The shortened(reasonably so) version of "Thick As a Brick" they played as well, but unfortunately I hadn't comprehended what a marvel it was until that peformance - I know all the lyrics to it now ;3 It was a rather modest concert hall they've chosen, too - surprising in a way, but in tune with their rebellious nature, that isn't yet eroded by time.
Was THAT a comment length overkill, heh ? 0_0 I'm sorry, but I can't help being verbose talking about stuff that I like.

*sigh* You know, I never even heard of the Kelpie before now.
But after seeing that pic and immersing myself in every concievable bit of folklore and information the kelpie has made it on to my absolute favorites list. The pic also added to it gaining such a prestige place lol.
It is beautiful, and even if it supposed to have white dead eyes. The red ones coupled with the black body merging seemlessly into the swampy mire look stunning.
I adore your take on it!

This is excellent. If you ever want to have stuff of traditional fey published within a gaming book drop a line. The company I'm affiliated with is looking for artists for a Fey monster book and this would be perfect.
