Description
The latin name meaning, literally: 'giant-winged bird-whale'.
This was inspired by a dream I had about a really cool giant flying whale-like dragon thing. I was possessed with the urge to draw it. The picture turned out more like a whale than dragon, but that's okay. Whales are awesome.
Don't ask me what it's supposed to eat up there. Maybe it filters gnats through its baleen plates, or somming.

I love the flying whale concept. Gojira, a french metal band, made an album dealing with flying whales. If you like metal music, you should listen to it, it's a great album.
