hclausen , AlejandroCastillo : Thank you I have some even better shots of these magnificent birds, but I still have to finish the RAW development. This place was really interesting. These birds are not nesting here but they spend a week or two on their migration to their nesting place in hte Baltic countries. They somehow know the weather there and continue their flight when it turns better for them. While waiting they exploit the vaste fish farm waters of Fehértó and thanks to God the owners and the personnel of the fish farm pay little concern to their damage in favour of their survival. Actually they really do lot of damages and some clever people consider that as their tribute and share for biodiversity.

If you happen to turn up at Szeged, look for the guest house called "Fehértói csárda"—it is right beside the fish ponds of the farm and they do the most perfect "halászlé" (traditional Hungarian fishermen's soup)

Thank you for all these details Hor. I do not really know if I will ever reach those latitudes, but if I do I will not stop trying that soup.

If this is not a typo and you meant really not to stop, that is a big mistake. They took it such artistic level that they would afford DD every day if DA would accept cuisine
