It would be so easy to hate him. So easy to despise him, and everything he stands for. Because Frollo has won. The system has won.

What she looks for when they are alone for the first time is the look of smugness on his face, the unholy glow of obsession in his eyes and entitlement written in the lines of his body.
What he gives her, however, when they are naked together for the first time is something completely different.
What he gives her is warmth. His are not the cold hands of greed and possession that reach for her.
His touch is gentle and his hands are warm, scalding almost against her cold skin. Slowly he pulls her towards him, turning her around. His hot breath against her hair, and the soft tickle of his chesthair against her breasts. Then her skin meets his. Gently Frollo rests his chin on her shoulder. She can feel his heartbeat, slow and steady against her breast.
And she warms up to him.

Really like your artwork, even though our takes on how the whole Frollo/Esmeralda dynamic would play out are completely opposite, but that's what AU is for, after all. In fan works, there really are no right or wrong slash pairings, just individuals' opinions.

Who said Frollo isn't capable of warmth and kindness?! It's actually totally plausible this might happen during their first time. Being so repressed, he would find it quite easy to finally let loose his emotions now that Esmeralda is in his arms. I love the look of utter surprise in her eyes as he wraps her gently, with that look of love in his eyes.
