Well, after about a week of work, I've finished a promotional "poster" for my next-to-be-made Flash series. This is my first attempt at a CG Photoshop colored pic, and I think it came out well. Tell me what you think. Advanced Critique Encouraged.

From left to right: Steak, Tater, Dumpling and Parsley. They're all named after foods...foods that represent them in some way or another.

The plot is that of a psychological teenage drama. But, this is no "The O.C." or some crap. This will be an 9 or 10 part series about 4 teenagers and how they each cope with life. This is real. This is not how Hollywood decides to show teenagers growing up, with their so-called "problems." It will have a little comedy, but mainly it will just talk about how the youth of today get by in life...without taking sides.

I want to do a serious Flash cartoon. Not only to show that I'm capable of more than just toilet jokes or "the Hate-dar." I want to show that I'm capable of writing a story that captivates people. Selfish reasons aside, I want to show the internet that a serious Flash series is possible, despite everyone having the idea that the only Flash cartoons that are made involve fart jokes and Megaman sprites...or is that webcomics?...doesn't matter.

Tools used: My handy-dandy tablet (for drawing...couldn't live without it), Macromedia Flash 8 (for lineart), and Photoshop 7.0 (for everything else)

PPS-I will finish Hyperboy. It's just that Hyperboy is all planned out in my mind. I know what to do and how to do it. This is the series I'm currently writing, so I can work on it after Hyperboy.
