OMG! YAY! This looks fabulous on so many levels! I noticed you did your wings in the back almost the same as mine are done! Haha! Gotta have the sequins, right?! Love the fact that you used a lace overlay to keep the weight down, but still add elegance there.
I'm so impressed by your tutu! It looks Russian pleated and hooped; which speaking from personal experience is such a pain, but always looks so lovely. Russian basque and bodice aren't my favorite, but it works lovely for you. Did you make it? <3 Must have taken you so much time.

OMG it was a three month project. I think I'll just write up a journal thing about it in detail, since it involves a whole bunch of stuff that spanned a year, really (importing fabrics, dying stuff, ordering a base tutu only to have to take it apart completely and put it back together to look better for Princess Tutu... I had to do A LOT more than two overlays on the plate to weigh it down, like redo the pleating, the hooping, and the tacking... O.O)
My wings actually light up too! The wiring came off the circuit board during the con, though, so I'm going to remake the electronics differently this time (heavier wires, but less of them, and a better circuit board). And what kind of tutu doesn't have sequins, right? ^_^
