Thanks, I hope you've got your voice back now.
Come to Guilin, China, I'll take you there and you'll see that apart from getting up at 4:00am and trekking 6km with all your gear, including a solid tripod, it really isn't difficult to get shots like this. I've seen better! My wife, who I've been advising only since I gave her one of my Nikons 18 months ago, came back from this trip with some shots that put this one in the shade.

Thanks. Yes, it's a beautiful river, and peaceful in the early morning, then the lines of riverboats full of tourists come streaming through and I pack up my dreams and go home.

Thank you, I can only take credit for the photograph; the location is a feast for the eyes at every turn. Not hard to make beautiful pictures here; painters have been doing it for centuries.

I'm from Canberra, currently in China.
Also a cycling enthusiast, but a little more sedate these days. (Commonwealth Games 1962)
I think I recall seeing a "Big Prawn, or Shrimp, or Yabbie" up near the Qld border, but don't recognise your mount in the ID pic.
