I'm impressed. Good use of separate resources to get a nice outcome. What I was happy to see was your comment on fonts and making them simple along with your way of darkening areas.
Very solid tutorial, I wouldn't add any more or any less to it. Okay sorry I lied, maybe on the "bad render" add that trying to do bright effects on a white render = pain to the eyes.
But yeah, love the tutorial, keep it up.
