Rossalyn is the late wife to Claude. she was a very loud and boutrous woman. most people didn't understand why Claude took attraction to her. he was...well reserved and she was the kind of woman who would get kicked out of the store for fighting over a pair of heels. when they asked him why he continued to stay with her he simply replied that she made him happy.
to him, she was an angel.
it was ashamed she was murdered.
they were actually genuinely happy together.

a bit of trivia on their relationship:
-seeing as how blacksmith was a dying out job a lot of people encouraged Claude to go into another area of business. she didn't pressure that onto him. he was doing what he loved and as long as they were together that was enough for her. he'd craft her jewelry which she would proudly wear all like "yea, my boyfriend made it for me. he's a real artist. "
he actually did get a lot of work from woman asking for custom made jewelry. this lead him to get recognized by some pretty important people and he actually moved out of his small town into the city where he opened up shop.

-they ended up getting married before they left for the city. it was a small wedding with limited invites. the town didn't like how loud she was and a lot of them said their relationship was doomed. they were wrong about the relationship failing.

-Claude actually started teaching her how to wield metal together. it was small stuff that could be done with a blow torch but she was happy to be sharing her husbands interest.

-She often made him Coffee when he was taking a break. Claude claims it was the best coffee he's ever had and nothing will ever be better.

- they enjoyed walking around the city the lived in together. often took long walks late at night.

- She was perfectly okay with how cynical Claude can be at times.

- She claimed that Claude had gentlest hands ever. the fact they were calloused only meant that the man those hands were attached too was a hard worker. she would often take off his gloves and hold his hand when they had quiet times to sit down together. Ross is the only person Claude feels comfortable taking his gloves off for.

- Ross' death was caused by a hit n run. she died about 15 minutes after she was hit. in those 15 minutes she used her own blood to write down a note expressing her love for Claude since she wouldn't get the chance too.
