Description
Had a great photo op with this tree in my grandmother's back yard last Friday. This is my favorite shot of the ones I took and the only one that had the angle I wanted. And the angle I wanted is rather obvious with the way I've named this photoNew thing: I gave it a border, just experimenting. I like it with the border better than without. Hope you like it.

I like the shot. The shadow/light interplay on the branches is really nice.
One caveat - I would try next time to get the camera to focus on the depths of the tree, so that you can try and get most of the image in focus. Unless of course that's the way you wanted it.

Thank you, yet again.
Oh no, you've discovered my weakness. I'm new to photography of course and my camera is digital and I haven't fully mastered all of it's features, so I've yet to be able to focus exactly where I want. The good news is it actually is focused in a way I like

Ooo, that's normal, trust me. My first whole set of pictures was an exercise in fooling the camera's autofocus. After working with it for a while, I am much more comfortable just letting it ride, and choosing my own focus/set up.
You'll get there!

Wow! This rocks, girly! I love the angle of this and all the details of the bark you were able to capture as well as the sunlight filtering in through the branches and leaves. The colors are wonderfully vibrant, the angle also allows one to become lost in the moment. You eyes automatically trailing up, following the branches, unable to tell if this is just but one tree by it's self or a tree in a forest of other trees. The picture it's self looks professional, but the border you added really finnish it off and gives it a polished look. You should experiment more often ~_^!
I love it ^_^! This is now my new fav, excellent work! [link]
