It has been a hot minute since I have drawn a manik, and I really wanted to update their species sheet, the last one is 8 years old.
Ignore a lot of the stuff from the old sheet, if it isn't here it likely isn't canon/important anymore
A Manik's Lamp:
- A manik's lamp is always the same shade as their iris
- A manik cannot live without a lamp, it is their life force and they will die without it
- The longer and thinner the "cord" attaching a manik's lamp, the older they are
- manik's lamps can become increasingly more intricate as they age, their lamp starts out as a round or teardrop shape. Their lamp can stay the original shape forever
A Manik's Eyes:
- The manik's eyes are always the same colour as their lamp. Their iris is the same shade, and their sclera is a much darker shade of the same colour.
- A manik can have round or slitted pupils
Other Manik Trait Information:
- All maniks have 2-5 plumes growing from their ears, as well as a plume on the point of each ear
- A manik's wings are usually retracted, only plumes coming from their shoulder blades are visible
- Maniks have handlike claws on their forelegs, and paws on their hind legs
- Maniks rarely open their mouths, which are mostly sealed shut. It is very painful for them to open their mouth, and they only do in dire situations
Traits are coming soon! all common traits will be open for people to use, while uncommon and rare will be only available through customs from me
