This was unbelievable helpful. Thank you so much. I've been experimenting with both traditional materials as (though just recently) digital painting and I've been looking for a way to combine them. Your tutorial is exactly what I was looking for.

My gallery isn't up to date. I hope I can find the courage to upload new work soon
Thanks again for the help!

I was sifting through your beautiful deviations, wondering how you manaed to color them so well(something that is not my forte), and I stumbled onto this.

This tutorial is amazing! As a begginer Photoshop user, I was beginning to get a little discouraged. I couldn't find a proper coloring tut anywhere that didn't involve another program. But your tutorial is so simple and easy to understand(not to sound like an idiot, or anything. ).

I recolored a previously(and horribly) done picture, and thought I'd link you to it: [link] . It's definately not perfect, but a better start than before.

Beautiful, beautiful tutorial. Very helpful and easy-to-follow, and your art is simply gorgeous. You definitely inspired me to get better <3

I tried out some of your techniques for this piece: [link] It's much more cartoony than your examples, but I think it still worked pretty well! And I definitely learned a lot; though I've used Photoshop for a while now, I never thought to put highlights on soft light--I usually use luminosity, and that tends to be overpowering. The soft light is such a nice effect. I love it Thank you so much for this tutorial! It's fantastic!

How similar is GIMP to photoshop?

I know you can do layers on it, but I don't think you can multiply them.
