Description
There's a beautiful flower on the kitchen counter.You adore its simple, but grand beauty.
Its only purpose is to please you.
Sometimes your life is busy, and you could
walk by it thirty times without giving it a single glance.
The flower begins to wilt.
So you water it, make sure it's in the sunlight.
It becomes beautiful once again.
If you go too long without tending to it,
the flower will shrivel up.
You're sad
You give it extra attention, care, water, sunlight.
Too late.
Dead.

For a border... try a 4px white border, and then a 1px silver border around that. It's less distracting.

hmm can you explain that? So I have a 4 pixel thick white border, and on the very outside I have a 1 pixel thick silver border?

I like thin borders. So then it's less distracting and you can see more of the image.

I lovethe flowing composition here, you feel like you're catching something special and quiet, in it's moment of profoundness. The color and the contrast are magnificent, this is beautiful.

That poem had a surprise ending, I think it interrupted the poem, but a beautiful photo nonetheless. I like the direction of focus and the focus on the flower and the blur of the petals.

I don't like the composition on this one. The flower is at the far left of the photo, and it's facing left. Also, I think the crop might be a tad too tight - parts of the falling petals are clipped off. The composition the way it is just doesn't look natural.
Also, that thing in the top right hand corner is distracting, and the background would look a lot better if it was all black (try either levels in Photoshop or just putting a black piece of canvas behing the subject before you shoot).

I actually consider this my best work, and I really think that the composition and the cropping were really good (hey it leaves room for the imagination if something is cut in half 
I guess we have different styles, but I'll keep keep in mind of what you said.

Each by itself is okay (the picture and the poem) but the two connected together is something special. The image is a bit blurry, but the idea behind it is wonderful. Nice job.
