Personality: Vertex is extremely smug, short-tempered, egotistical, rebellious, fiercely independent and arrogant. He takes pride of believing to be the most strongest Aligexian above anyone else, labeling others as inferiors. Vertex has a deep rivalry against Ultima Alien and will take dire risks to be stronger than him; even destroying his own mentor’s other Aligexian experiments.

Skills: Super strength/speed/durability/reflexes, copying powers

Weapon: Arm Cannon

Fighting Style: Vertex uses his Arm Cannon to fire rapid energy projectiles like a machine gun, rather than making charged-up blasts. With his Power-Copy feature, he can copy the powers of Professor Badder’s genetic Aligexian experiments.

Relationships: Ultima Alien (main video game rival), Professor Badder (former mentor and video game enemy)

History: Vertex was once Verne, a mercenary who desired nothing but money, until he meet Professor Badder, who promised him to make him into the most strongest Aligexian than anyone in the universe. Professor Badder took him and turn him into a genetic Aligexian experiment based on a research conducted on Ultima Alien’s design, thus, he is renamed as Vertex. After meeting Ultima Alien and being defeated by him, Vertex grew a strong hatred against Ultima Alien and the dear intention of surpassing his powers one day by any means, even betraying his own mentor and destroy his other Aligexian experiments to gain enough power.
