Last new piece before Anime Boston.
Honestly... not my fav piece, but it's done and a learned a few new techniques to use on other stuff.
and the BG is not a photo. i made it with Manga Studios' awesome perspective rulers and lots of Blur fliters.

i think the pic is amazing but i do have to agree that the pinky is too big and that with the position of the hand you should show a little bit of another finger. other than that very good job.

Only thing that bugs me is her right hand is a little off: four fingers and the pinky pretty large. Otherwise amazing!

I agree with suicidal-raven, the proportion or something is off on the pinky finger. I think if you re-thought that bend mark on the inside it would be fixed. Maybe the perspective isn't actually whats off there.
The thumb looks to be touching the fence, but I'll take it a step further and say that it's the shadows which make it seem that the thumb is further from the fence making it look like it's not actually touching it. That may be what you wanted to do though, so in that case, it's just your decision.
I love this picture! Even though I thought I'd put in my two cents, it doesn't mean that it's not awesome. ^_^

ok so you said critiques <3'd... but before i critique it, i want to say this is an absolutely amazing piece , and i'm just putting thoughts into your head for your next amazing piece.
there are only two things that i could even begin to criticize in this piece.
i donno if it supposed to be, but the closer pinky finger looks kinda disproportional to the hand... and the thumb doesn't seem to be touching the fence.
the rest of it is beyond awsome. the colors. the blur is pretty much perfect and the emotion is astounding.
just one question what program are you using. Photoshop? Painter X? ???

I love the shine/shading, it makes it look like she's under a streetlamp or something.

great lighting and composition, the colouring style on the hair is different than the rest of the picture, but it's cool however, that closest finger is seriously off, kinda deformed looking, but it should be easy to fix if you draw the middle phalanx in front of the fingertip. I know it's not that big a thing and i'm bitching on and on about it but it's right at the front of the picture.
all in all good job (hoping this will take the sting out of the rest of the comment lol)
