Last new piece before Anime Boston.
Honestly... not my fav piece, but it's done and a learned a few new techniques to use on other stuff.
and the BG is not a photo. i made it with Manga Studios' awesome perspective rulers and lots of Blur fliters.

I think you got the drawing you invisioned with no problems here. The perspective is great the expression is beautiful. Just...the left finagers are a lil big. But its hardly noticeable lol

your proportions are nicely done. and the lighting looks really colourful. I really enjoy gawking at this piece ^^
the pinky is a bit misshapen tho and the ring finger seems to be in an odd angle as well. also it might also help the already awesome detail by suggesting a middle finger instead of just omitting it altogether.
I think that making the pinky, and the ring fingers a tad bit thinner and making the middle finger mor apperent then it would really help since the left hand and the face are the main focal point.

I like the sharp contrast lol. And i like how theres actual emotion of her face.
Though like some people have said, the pinky is a bit...weird. But hey, i cant draw hands worth a crap either haha ;_;

I really like the mixed use of hard shading and gradients you have going on, it's a nice style. What really impresses me is the perspective and depth of field--it's simply something I haven't seen you do before. Also, your use in varying line weight has really improved as well.
If there's anything to take note of, it's the awkward pinky finger (mentioned) and the shading of the lines on her palm. I've noticed in the past that you sometimes shade contour lines the opposite way--that is, the shadow should be above it, to signify a volume, rather than below. Just something to keep in mind.
Also, maybe you could pass some of those commissions onto me--I'm f-ing broke!

i think it adds life, character and focal interest to the piece.

Nice work, very emotional. But the colors are a little too sharp against each other and don't go attractively together. I also think you may over over-used the blurring for blending, so some important dimension is lost from the shading.

OMGOMGOMGGGGGGG!!!!!! That's so pretty!! I still can't figure out how you manage to cough-up all that patience... I'd DIE if i had to do something like this! I just can't sit still that long. XD Very good job, can't wait for your next deviation. ^^

Holy shiznit, this is TIIIGHT!! I absolutely love everything about it. The colours are amazing, I don't even know how you pulled that chainlink fence off, that's something beyond me atm... The background is really really well done. And I thought the beginning sketch was good... I can't really find anything to critique. It's hard to teach a teacher lol
