nice drawing, it remings me of the tatoos that they have in africa, say it somewhere in national geographic, don't remember the tribe/clan tho T-T

It is supposed to use 3D -- the head is a 3D render with texture, bump and transparency maps made in Photoshop and applied to a 3D head in Poser. They never said it couldn't be subtle.
