Description Red ruffed lemur, lazing about in the shadows.
I've always been fascinated with the glowing eyes in black animal faces. This is a prime example, I think.

thanks.
I'm pretty happy with how clear this turned out myself. I usually have trouble with that when taking photos of animals. but that visit to the zoo turned out some gems. need to get back to editing the rest soon.

Love the composition and focus on the eyes. The image really makes me wanna touch its soft, fluffly fur...but hopefully it won't bite me with that intense glance!

the good thing about captive lemurs is that they LET visitors touch them, if you approach them right.
these in particular have really soft fur.

happy you like the picture.

Oh wow, what an excellent capture! Lemurs are super neat, love the expression you caught, and the contrast is perfect!

thank you.
I'm happy I caught that moment, too. and that the focus was just right. not that easy when they're more active. lemurs are one of the few animals I like being lazy in the zoo.

Hehe, no argument there. They are definitely active critters!
