There looking so clouded now, you look so distanced from us.
Dont go just yet, I know your trying hard, you want to see us
All grown up, and you want to see your first Grandchild.
Great Grandpa, you probobaly didnt think you'd last this long.
But you did, and I hope you hold on to that thought,
That hope of seeing us graduate,get married.
You long to be out of that hospital bed, even though you dont say it
We can see it.
