Yesterday I went out for the first time on my bike after a fortnight, this time going to the polderland west of Hilversum/The Netherlands. At a certain place - near the canal of Tienhoven, for those who want to know it exactly -, I found a place with countless geese. The ones which you see on the shot are just some of them!Related content

Not that much.Where I live,which is west of Johannesburg,it seldom snows.Frost yes,but that is about it.The only place it snows about once a year is on the eastern side of the country,on the high mountains,and then near Cape Town,on the mounains there.It seldoms gets below 0 degrees on the coldest days in winter.I think we are spoiled rotten,don't you agree?

I heard some geese coming over our house in the middle of the night.... weird. They must have been coming back from the south. But at night? O_O
