They say that one should resist temptation though I do admit in this case it is more than justified, as to walk and enjoy the company of Mother Nature is an invitation not to be missed.
This image is a little larger than you normally use and is a good size as it fits well on the screen. I suppose you may be experimenting with various sizes to use.

Another very fine shot showing life as it is. I am sure I don't know how you bring out the beauty and spirit in your subjects, with your unique form of expression. You're operating at a level beyond my ability to see precisely- though I can 'just see it, from a distance'! Can you describe it please?
I think this work has it more clearly than "They are still there", itself more so than "Will they still be there". Just blasted if I can say precisely what "it" is!
I do know that your use of colour and balance of visual elements, not to mention the clarity of the shot overall are among the features that give greatness to this picture. But they aren't it! Other works have all these but not your quality of pure *reality*.
As for stand-out features: the effect of the trees being more densely together at left of frame and less so towards the right is very aesthetically pleasing. So too is the blue of the sky, and green of the leaves and grass. The clouds are the quiet achievers of the shot, contributing greatly to the effect overall without drawing too much attention to themselves.

Thanks a lot for the intensity of your reaction. I am afraid, though, you are asking me too much. I take my pictures rather instinctively. There was wonderful light this early morning, with still long shadows, the air was bright and then this beautiful place where I have walked countless times in my life. I know it is a very special place, as I know no other along the coast of Schleswig-Holstein which is quite like this one. For the rest, I am just keeping my eyes open ...
