Description No longer an active skater myself, today l very much enjoyed going out to look for the beauty of this winter day on one of the lakes here near Hilversum/The Netherlands, i.e. the Funtus at Old Loosdrecht.

Prachtig!!! De kleuren, en vooral die van het riet vind ik heel erg mooi!
Zelf heb ik ook genoten van het ijs en de sneeuw (als fotograaf dan, want ook
ik waag mij niet meer met schaatsen op het ijs).

Heel hartelijk dank. Ja, schaatsen was ooit prachtig, zeker ook hier op de Vuntus, maar ja, gelukkig kunnen we dus nog op een andere manier genieten.

Ik vind het ijs zoals hier er altijd zo verraderlijk uitzien, maar waarschijnlijk is het best dik.

A wonderful image! I too went out for a walk in the snow, but I am afraid the amount of snow was less than this!

It was lovely (It was about -7C though and taking photos with gloves on just does not work for me!) Did get some nice shots of the snowdrops and some scenery)
