Description
Name: N/AOrigin: Thailand
Fighting style: Muay Thai
Design notes: Muay Thai is a mainstay in fighting games but rarely represented by young girls. Wanted to do something a little different than the typical ring attire. Obviously strongly inspired by Jeeja YaninΒ

The only female character that use Muay Thai in fighting games is King from Art of Fighting. But I like her design, she gives off a tomboy vibe.

Wish there Β was another Thai fighter like Tony Jaa. And perhaps another kick boxer like Gina Carano.

Wish there was a male from Thailand that does Muay Boran. Someone based on Tonya Jaa.

Cool! You're right, most Muay Thai characters are male.

There's no secret purpose to it or anything, I just haven't come up with a good name for her yet. Not so familiar with thai names and culture so I'd like to do some research first.

I have mixed feelings about her. She's cute, and there's definitely not enough female muay thai users in fighting games (i can only come up with King), but her outfit seems a bit dated. Maybe it's the shorts?

Dated? That's ok, so are my tastes. I'm not aiming to create a period piece, but I imagine the game as something that could have existed in the early 90's golden era of fighting games. If that comes through in the character designs, I see it as a good thing. I would hope people have a positive reaction of course, but maybe some of my intentions will be made more clear as the project takes shape.

Yeah she seems early 90's inspired for sure. And don't get me wrong, I like the idea behind her, it's just the outfit that I don't like that much, but that's just my opinion.

I know, right?! I've seen almost all of her films. Including the film the Kick which she also starred in.
I was actually working on a fighter based on Jeeja Yanin for my Fighting Ambitions series. She's supposed to be the disciple of my muay thai master OC here.Β
