Description
contest drawing for this months reddit moncon thing (pyrrha & happy endings~ vwv)- - -
Based on this idea I had brewing for a while now I guess |D
"RWBY AU thing where instead of Pyrrha disappearing in the the wind, she was left there incapacitated as Ruby did her silver-eye thing and saved her. Then she’d end up waking up on Patch (because they had no where else to go) with Ruby+ NJR around her-
(*Then it basically splits into either, Pyrrha’s left disabled to some degree becausethearrowhitherspineorsomething,eithertemporarily/permenantly.
(**or/followed with Pyrrha just needs time to recover herself from everything because holy shit was that a thing and then yeah- switches tracks to where RNJR are still off to find Cinder, while Yang and Pyrrha have time to develop and help each otherthroughtheirownmonstersandissues that eventually lead to Yang reaching some conclusion that she needs to find Blake, and Pyrrha tags along to help her and whatnot~)"

I'm not so sure she is gone... When cinder did that one thing where she fragmented her weapons and arrows, that effect is VERY similar to how phyrra "burned"
Maybe it's just a big puzzle piece...

Yeah, there were very many things about Pyrrha's death that were off. And Jen could be screwing with all of us with her tweets. And Pyrrha wasn't really designed to be a character to be killed off, so I also believe that Pyrrha could come back.

I think...that Pyrrha is going to stay dead. And.... that's how it should be. Not that I particularly disliked Pyrrha mind you, but I feel like her death is always going to be one of the big moments of RWBY, like it'll really factor into Ruby and Jaune growing as characters.
Bringing her back would only undermine that. Just my opinion though, but really, I'd be disappointed with the Writers if they do bring her back without genuinely good reason.
...And no, Arkos does not qualify as a genuinely good reason. There are other aspects to this show than shipping.

I understand that RWBY is not about shipping, but Lancaster doesn't fit. And what if she's not even dead? She could've just been transported to that realm Salem is in.

I didn't. I wasn't even referring to that.
I was referring to how her death would affect both characters individually. Jaune as the guy who lost his partner, Ruby as the one who couldn't save her.
If those aren't catalysts for character development, nothing is. Not Lancaster. At all.

may i note that Jen never said Pyrrha's "death" was a permanent thing? she just said the fight with Cinder and the results of it were going to happen from the beginning, not that Pyrrha was gone for good. and Miles only confirmed Torchwick's death, not Penny and Pyrrha's.

also, all those people who say Pyrrha was incinerated from the inside out with the arrow?
look again: the arrow went all the way through her, and is sticking out of her back. no fire, no flaring. those red embers floating up from her chest aren't flames.
Cinder transported her somewhere, I know it.

It could've been her aura, it could've been anything. But Cinder didn't touch Pyrrha and incinerate her. She grabbed her tiara, and that's why it's still there.

I ask again and again why the Tiara stayed when her armor vanished. they're made of the same material.
Pyrrha's Aura has always manifested as a black shroud around her hands. why would it suddenly turn red?
and does no one else notice how Pyrrha's disappearance is remarkably similar to how Cinder formed the arrow she shot Pyrrha with?
I'd like to believe there's more at work here.
and back to the subject of Jen's tweet: that was literally two days after the episode aired: I sat on a Q&A with Jeff Williams a few days ago at the Volume 1 Theater Screening, and while he obviously couldn't tell us a lot, he-did-tell us he hasn't begun the Soundtrack for season 4 yet.
it could very well be that, considering season 4 hadn't even begun production at the time, Jen Didn't KNOW what Pyrrha's future was. there might yet be hope.

THAT'S WHAT I WAS THINKING! We've already seen Yang's mother use some kind of portal technology so we know that teleportation is at least possible. So Cinder could have just teleported Pyrrah somewhere to use her as a lab rat... not ideal but better than the alternative, I'm calling a mind-controlled Pyrrah next volume right here and now.
And Penny is an Android, as long as her head is recovered she can be rebuilt in spite of her dismemberment. Pyrrah may have hit her with a magnetic wave but Penny had a magnet stuck on her head and suffered no adverse effects other than a bit of embarrassment, so it's possible all the wave did was shut her down.

I love how literally NO ONE is upset over Penny's death for that very reason, at least upset on the level people are upset over Pyrrha's demise.
"she's just a robot, weld her ass back together."
and that was going to be the issue no matter what happened to Penny: even with her connection to Ruby, at the end of the day, unless she was outright destroyed, nothing bad was ever going to happen to her, permanently, that is.
While the scene of "In-Cinder-Ation" has SO MANY cues that one could read to indicate Pyrrha was still "alive" somehow (the Arrow went all the way THROUGH her, not just got stuck in her chest, Cinder's Zapping looked like how she formed her weapons, those red glowy embers that came from Pyrrha's chest that Amber didn't have, etc)
People are almost Militantly insisting she be absolutely gone, 100%, never going to be seen again in any format whatsoever.
Frankly, i think people need to take a step back and wait to see what happens. while I Doubt Pyrrha's gone utterly, for good, i'm not sure having her come back (at least in V4) without any issues would be any more acceptable. In any case, i doubt we'd get anything more than a few hints that she were still "there" somehow in the upcoming season. if they just brought her back, it would cheapen her death and the impact she had in life.
while I of course want my favorite character to get her happy( or at least pleasant) ending, i also want to get the same emotional impact out of it that made me love her in the first place. if she just "comes back" no issues or nothing, then that would actually make me angry.
I WANT Jaune to have to fight his way through hordes of Grimm to rescue her soul, if that's the case.
I WANT Ruby and Gang to reunite and bring her back, either from Imprisonment or Brainwashing, if that's the case.
some people call that corny, and i know people will rage over it if that's what happens. but you know what?
I'd rather have some real emotional drama than mindless action any day.
so, for now, i'm going to write Fanfics, draw Fan Art, Watch RWBY Chibi (and revel in any new lines from any appearance of Pyrrha proving Jen Brown's Tweet to be false ) and wait for V4 with baited breath.

In Spirit Track's, Zelda is zapped driving her soul out of her body, while her body is brought to be a vessel for the essence of a demon king, meanwhile her soul hangs on a suit of armor
So what if for this case Pyrrha's soul is stuck in Jaune and her Tiara pleading him to save her, Jaune keeps insisting Pyrrha is alive, but they think he is just coping or going insane but he's like "I Don't think, I KNOW." and with Corrupt Puppet Pyrrha shows up, they finally believe him

it would make some sense: I still think that red glow that came out of Pyrrha's chest when she was shot with Cinder's arrow means something.
and no, she wasn't being burnt from inside out: look right before Cinder zaps her, the arrow is sticking out her back.

What if that's Cinder's Semblance?! Teleportation! She thinks about the arrows that are in another place and they appear to her, that's why she never seem's to run out. Think about it a persons Semblance is unique to them and we never got an explanation on what her Semblance was since whenever we see Cinder fight it's mostly with her stolen Maiden powers(or handguns when the moment calls for it).

sadly, i think we can rule that out: she forms her weapons from Dust, which is how she can turn her swords into a Bow and never seems to Run out of Arrows.
what i'm thinking about here is that she can reform PYRRHA somewhere as well...

Someone finally said it about Penny, I'm hoping against pretty much everything my mind is telling me that she can somehow be saved. But alas Pyrrah's Semblance is more powerful then most would imagine since she was never very overt with her use of it, so it probably wiped Penny's mind like magnets often do to a computer. On a side note I started crying when I saw Velvet use Penny's swords, so much so that when Weiss took over the fight I literally screamed at the screen with tears poring down my face just wanting some ANY retribution for what happened to Penny "F*(KING KILL THOSE THINGS WEISS!!!!"... then rewind and pause because I couldn't see the screen clearly.
On the note of them both I agree with what you are saying, I don't want them back so soon in some "Deus Ex Machina Hey I'm Actually Not Dead" BS and if they do come back I want the main cast to have to move heaven and earth in order to do it(or side quest it to hell like every Zelda game EVER), some of the best character arcs in some of my favorite stories come from parts where people almost literally have to crawl through hell and back to get what they want. And Pyrrah becoming a temporary/unwilling antagonist would be a perfect arc for Jaune, we would get to see so many different sides from him and having to defeat Pyrrah might just be the push he needs to finally find his own Semblance.
Lastly I'll be waiting for Volume 4 just as eagerly, maybe write a Fanfic where Yang get's a little preemptive motivation slapped into her by another short-tempered blond who is missing more than his right arm and is the oldest of two kids... and sounds uncannily like her Uncle when he was younger... and is almost impossible to keep down... those two just got a lot more similar.

Well in Spirit Tracks Zelda's soul is separated from her body in order for a demonic essence to be stuffed with it, her soul clings on to a suit of armor, now for Pyrrha...see where I'm going with this?

I'd say...V5, for an early hint, at least. Like, last episode, post-credits, we see Salem, and she's pondering over something inside one of those giant dust crystals...an unconscious girl with familiar red hair....
as for Penny, i doubt we're going to see her again before we get to Atlas (it's pretty much clear that we're going to be traveling to the other kingdoms at this point)

as for Ozpin...I have a theory on that.
Back in season one, when Ozpin was telling the new students about their initiation, and Ruby commented that he seemed like he wasn't really there?
I wonder...could that be...literal?

well, we've heard time and again about how "old" Ozpin is, despite looking like he's in his mid-30's (he looks younger than General Ironwood, but the General treats him like he was Ozpin's student)
and Ozpin's theme seems to have a lot to do with clocks and gears (just look at his office, it's literally in a clock tower)
it makes me wonder...is he older than anyone thinks?
could his semblance perhaps have something to do with time?
I believe that he's not dead, at least in the context of the series, but that he simply had to...."clock out" for a bit.
