I hope I gave justice to Lauren's pony! @_@;;;;NOTE: UUUUUUUUUUGH! Didn't realize all the layers weren't visible and Celestia's jewels weren't shown. Fixed.

Personally when it comes to pony-sonas, I think making yourself an Alicorn is going way too far on the "overpowered" category. However, I'm quite fine with Lauren Faust choosing this type of pony since she is responsible for creating the wonderful show! I wonder if her husband is also an Alicorn?

For the Equestria Daily interview she drew what she would look like as a pony (as fans were curious and I think they might have asked her) and on her DA she told everyone what colors she would be.

Agreed. I really don't see this "tyrant" thing everyone keeps going on about. So maybe she neglected to mention the grand galloping ala was so formal... twilight LIVED in or around the palace for YEARS and never noticed that? Didn't research it? I hardly believe that.

I just assumed you added an 's' to 'misspelled' to emphasize the word. But calenged/chalenged = challenged.

I'm a die-hard Celestia fan. I've really paid attention to her throughout the show and I'm confident enough to defend her.

Indeed, considering that, on-screen at least, the single arguable prank Celestia has played was the bit with the Cakes overflowing her teacup. And that was certainly as much in self-defense as anything, as they weren't letting her get to the bottom of that cup, and, Goddess of the Sun or no, her bladder must still have a capacity limit, and those two had an awful lot of tea at hand.
I will say that Celestia is just a TINY bit manipulative, but she is the reigning monarch of a powerful nation, and sometimes I expect she does have to "encourage" ponies to do things her way with minimal trouble. The occasional Batman Gambit beats the heck out of having to leverage threats of using her inarguable physical and magical power to get things done. (Besides, before too long the Moon would get awfully full.

I feel personally that Celestia isn't as manipulative as people believe. She is Twilight's teacher after all.

I still like Luna as well, which is usually rare that a brony will like both Celestia and Luna. I just have more of a special spot for Celestia.
We will be seeing Luna this season though. Several animators from the show have confirmed that.

I hope it kinds of smack the Fanon Luna in the face, I am tired of them trying to make Celestia be bad so Luna looks better, not to mention the New Lunar Republic.
