Oh, and don't forget the fun of Telekinesis
Pick up a cash register, fire it at a splicer, then pick up that splicer's corpse and fire it at ANOTHER splicer, then take that splicer's corpse and fire it into the ceiling. Multiple times.
Telekinesis. A whole new frontier in corpse defiling.

Meh, they totally ripped off the Gravity Gun from HL2.

I always hated when hacking is impossible. By the time you figure it out, all is lost.

I keep hearing "Woud you kindly" but I never played...what is it from? *other than the obvious answer, the game*

The main character is brainwashed so any order that begins with "Would you kindly.." is automatically obeyed.

Only one game has made me jump, ever. It was "The Thing". I'm not sure why, it had a lot of crap aspects (so what am I here, a highly trained arctic electrician? What's with all the fucking fuse boxes?). Maybe it was the dog apes and their complete lack of personality. They just ran up and killed you with their deformed little limbs.
Incidentally the movie that preceded the game was the only film to not only freak the fuck out of me, but give me nightmares as well. And this was back when I didn't even have regular dreams, let alone nightmares.

What was the game, and the platform?
And the name of the movie? I'd love to terrify myself.

The name of the movie is "The Thing". It was released in 1982, directed by John Carpenter (Escape from New York, Halloween, etc.) and stars Kurt Russel. It's one of my favourite movies. Definitely freaky, albiet a bit cheesy.
The game was released for PC, I think.

Scariest part: When you're in the dental section, you come to a 2 room area connected by a water-logged mini-hall. When you go into the hallway, you see the shadow of a splicer and it's voice. The lights go off and back on, and the splicer is gone. YOu check out the room, utterly terrified. Then, assuming that everything is ok, you turn around and go to the other room. But as soon as you turn the corner, you see the splicer jump out of the wall, screaming horribly. *Insert excrement here*.
Freakiest part: Right after the beginning, you walk into a hallway to see the shadow of a splicer over a baby-carriage, and she is saying "Why aren't you warm anymore? So cold...so cold..." You assume it's a normal woman, grieving the death of a baby. But when you turn the corner, you see a horribly mangled face, and she reaches into the carriage to produce a revolver. *Insert curse word here*

This game in my opinion is not scary, spooky yes, but scary no. I never got to a point where I was startled by the game, the last thing that made me do that, was Condemned. AND I CAN'T WAIT TO GET CONDEMNED 2!!! xD

's bioshock. That is the creepiest most awesomest game I have ever played.
*shivers from consequent nightmares*
Oh, and you don't HAVE to kill the little girls, you can let them go... And then, in the end, the end, in my opinion, is Waaaaay creepier.

2: Glad I'm not the only one who found Sander Cohen more than a little disturbing...
5: So irritating. I've lost count of the number of times I scrambled to clear out the hidden panels during a hack only to discover I was completely BLOCKED OFF. Definite wtf.
6: Yeah, because it's definitely fair that I go over to check a corpse for items and the guy jumps up and attacks me...CURSE YOU, TAKE TWO! I LIKED THAT PAIR OF PANTS!
7: Possibly one of the creepiest aspects of that game. Watching that scene still gives me chills. And all that time I thought Atlas was just being sarcastically polite...
8: I actually killed the guy by hacking the drones he summoned and then just sitting back while they tore him to pieces... -_-;;
