if you want a game to make you jump, look for a old game called system shock 2 then play it with high quality headphones. pretty good pix overall, ive only played the demo tho, plan on buying it when ive got the spare cash

I'm playing Bioshock VERY slowly, savouring the love and absorbing all the little audio diaries and plot hints so I don't miss a second of the deep-ness.
I liked how you had the dude carrying the wrench all the time and not one of the guns. Atlas' first reccomendation does seem to be THE way to defeat pretty much anything asides from a Big Daddy.

Yeah, that game rocks so hard: "Would you kindly pound me to death with this golf club, while I mock you for being a slave?" The plot twist with Ryan and Fontaine and the characters past really took me off-guard; to think I felt sorry for Atlas when it seemed like his family got blown up! I love your How To Play series, they always manage to sum up the games so perfectly, and so hilariously

I honestly never really get scared in games or movies. I mean I'll go "Whoa!" if a big freaky monster jumps out. But that's more just adrenaline rush than actual fear.
... that frickin' Eternal Darkness game actually made my heart stop for a split second and left me D8 for a good half minute. Solid scares that game. ^^
