Scenes from City Hall,London.Never tested so many variations of a shot in my life as I have with this one,think I had 15+ of various tones and contrasts and slightly diff crops and I still didn`t manage to get it as good as I wanted too (was darker than it looks in there & couldn`t shift the final noise),but this is as close as I`m gonna get

This image has a very depressing feel to it. Was it candid or set up if you dont mind me asking ? The sweep of the empty corridor leads the eye right to the person sitting there all on his / her own. But the lack of detail emphasizes the seclusion of the person and adds to the depressing feel. Same goes for the light you captured. the foreground is much lighter while the area around the person is so much darker again increasing the feel of separation.

Great sweeping leading lines, Figure placed perfectly on the upper third and the dark space top right stops the eye from leaving the image. I wouldnt worry about noise, whern we used fast film grain never really bothered us.

I know you love em Ang,I love these shots more than ever this year too and have got very inspired myself by others on DA who do it regularly,they are unique,specialist & harder to capture than most people would imagine I think
