This is a great couple. Like many have said. Anabelle is good, she could help Brian's virtues. I don't remember brian having mentioned that he's atheist.

aren't angel's supposed to native to Heaven? if so, Anabelle is technically alive. then again, she could have once been a mortal dog, in which case she's not technically alive.

The movie's concept was heterodox: it taught an Universalism (all souls go to heaven) even for the bad guys ! Now, a few people do NOT deserve to go to heaven, but most people have done nothing to merit eternal agony in fire.
Annabelle must have a special LifeWatch on her person in order to have the aspect of life.

the lesson I gleaned from "All Dogs go to Heaven" is that, humans are the only species on Earth that are cable of true evil. animals aren't.

Brian was the least obscene and offensive character in a totally X-rated network TV show that I had enough of after only 2 episodes*. Also I never cottoned to ANY of Don Bluth's animated films.
* I may have missed too much of the raw obscenity of that show to have anything but a skewed viewpoint, but there's just so much violence and porn I can take !

Brian is way too self-centered, elitist, pompous, progressive and shallow to have a sentimental moment like this. The history of the show proves that he talks a lot when it comes to True Love, but he would much rather find a clueless tramp that he could violate quickly and easily. I mean, Jillian? He wasn't dating her for the conversation.
I think Annabelle would be much happier with Rowlf(Muppets), Kipper(book series, Mick Inkpen), Kazan(Kazan The Wolfdog, James Oliver Curwood), Copper(Fox And The Hound), Astro(Jetsons), Bandit(Johnny Quest), Doggy(King Of The Hill), Gromit(Wallace And Gromit), or several other bachelor dogs. My vote's for Gromit.
