Naked Snake and The Sorrow from Metal Gear Solid 3.
This was finished yesterday. It was done as a quick sketch on computer, just to get the image out of my head. But I've decided to refine it a bit. Don't know why I thought of doing this all of the sudden, but this is from one of my favorite scenes in the game. Since it was meant to be a sketch, I didn't look closely at my reference image of The Sorrow (should have, though), which is why he doesn't look like him. And sorry if this turns out dark on some computers.

I haven't seen Manhunt, but y son doesn't seem interested in it right now. He plays World of Warcraft mostly right now, but we just finished HAZE recently. It was worth about 10 hours of playtime for the two of us. It got bad reviews, but it was okay. We also finished RESISTANCE in a relatively short time.
He does like fighting games and is anxious to see SOUL CALIBER especially now that he heard Darth Vadar will be featured. We really used to like turn-based strategy games, but no one makes those anymore. We're definitely looking forward to Sid Meir's CIVILIZATION and Blizzard's new STARCRAFT II.

I don't think you'll want to see Manhunt. There were 2 games but I believe only available on PS2 and Wii (for the second one) and not for PS3. 10 hours for a game is definitely not enough. I hear "Resistance" is pretty good. I don't know much about World of Warcraft. Isn't it online or can you play offline as well? I'm excited about Starcraft II also! I had the first one and it was fun to play.

It's not that I'm not a fan of bloody, violent games (I LOVE the horror genre), but I generally use games and movies as an escapists entertainment. Crime is too close to reality for me to enjoy.
Resistance was an EXCELLENT game (we also went through it relatively quickly), and the second version promises to be equally good.
World of Warcraft IS an online game (although the previous versions could be played alone) and it spans the entire world. My son plays with all his highschool buddies and with/against people in Europe, Asia and South America. I've heard the Chinese government has even put a cap on playtime (8 hours per person per day) as it's eating into productivity time.

Oh, I love horror games too. I think you can tell by some of the works that I have on here. On the other hand, Manhunt wants the player to kill in MANY different ways. Personally, I don't find that entertaining at all.
I hope Resistance 2 will be longer. I'm pretty sure that the company takes in criticisms and suggestions from fans and reviewers. I have heard from some of my friends that the first one is too short also, so hopefully they will improve that in the second one.
8 hours is already way past my gaming limit for a day, haha. But I know it must be addictive because you get to play with others online.

Heheh, I think my son's personal record is about 14 hours - it definitely ISN'T the norm though. I try to make up push away the keyboard and exercise a bit.

Definitely not good for the eyes also. I think my longest was probably 7 hours with a 30 minute break in between.

Aw that's good. I had friends who spent 2-3 days to finish the 4th game. I know I won't be disappointed, I've seen a few gameplay previews a while back (but not enough to spoil me of course.) I've played MGS1 to 3.
