Chapter 6
Later that night, Jeikudon and Raikura met up near the forest, both of them a little bit scared. Jeikudon then said as she walked up “Hey, Raikura. You look good tonight.” She smiled and said “Thank you.” As they walked, they talked about random topics, like teenagers do, and eventually, the conversation began to die down. Jeikudon, in a weak attempt to impress Raikura, said “You know, when I would walk about in the kingdom, all of the girls would swarm me.” Raikura’s eyes were elsewhere, slightly offended and mainly bored. Suddenly he took her hands and said “But, when I was around them, I didn’t feel the way I do when I’m around you.” Raikura then said, “Really? Do you mean that?” Jeikudon then said with a smile “Y-yeah, I do”. As the two moved closer, seemingly for a kiss, Raikura then stopped him and kissed him on the cheek. She then turned around as the two began to playfully push one another, until Raikura fell gently to the ground, taking Jeikudon with her, the both of them laughing. She then pulled him closer and kissed his cheek, as he sat wide-eyed. She affectionately brushed against him and the two’s eyes locked. They moved closer and closer, until they closed their eyes and their lips locked. After a short kiss, they gently snuggled together, looking gently into each other’s eyes. When they got back, Raikura asked Jeikudon “So, are we together? D-do you want to be together?” Jeikudon then said “Yes, I do.” As he gently wrapped his arm around her shoulder, Jeikudon said “So, does this mean I can call you my girlfriend?” She moved closer to him and said with a smile “Only if I can call you my boyfriend.” The two then gently kissed one last time and returned to their respective tents.
