The CLEAR party website has a lot of information on the subject, and this is a decent read on some of the benefits of legalising marijuana.

For those who are TL;DR

Marijuana really helps me with my anger problems. It's legal for medical use here in Georgia, but it really should be legal everywhere for recreational and medical use. There's no reason for it not to be. It can't do much harm to you at all. The worst thing that can happen (and this only happens very rarely) is getting bronchitis. All the myths about it causing lung cancer and making you under achieve are complete asinine.Β

I completely agree that marijuana should be legalized.
I don't want to use it myself, as I have no need to use it, but I can see all the benefits that other people could get off of it.
I'd rather live in a house where all my roommates are marijuana users, than live in a house where all my roommates are alcoholics.
I think the main reason it is still illegal in a lot of places, is that pharmaceutical companies and oil companies would lose profit if marijuana became 100% legal.
So yeah, I'm using this stamp, if you don't mind.

Anybody who knows anything about marijuana would know that there have been no recorded deaths of anybody that has died from marijuana use EVER. Anyone who says that they know somebody that died from smoking weed is either lying, or their weed was laced with something else. (Cocaine, PCP, Meth, etc.)
And most people who are against marijuana legalization don't even realize that marijuana has more uses than just getting high off it. Like making paper, rope, using it as medicine, etc.Β

There was study done with couples, 1 group had alcohol the other MJ. About 30% of alcoholic couples turned abusive while the MJ couples showed a decrease in violence, and were giggly...

I'm totally sick of drugs of any kind being glorified in general. People now act like drugs are perfectly fine, with no side-effects. I mean surely, this drug must have at least one side-effect. Surely it cannot be harmless. Nothing is harmless. It is hypocritical for stoners and potheads to criticise alcohol when they too are addicted to something ("smoke weed everyday") and love being intoxicated.
This one in particular is glorified to infinity and beyond. It just won't go away. I'm sick of seeing pictures of weed symbols, the number 420, and people with bloodshot eyes smoking. It's gross.
I mean sure legalize it and all, but this damn drug culture needs to die. It's not nice to celebrate one's addiction to something. Some people define themselves with drugs and defend them excessively. Nowadays I feel like the only person who can appreciate wonderful music without inhaling gas.

Weed isn't addictive. It can be used for many things beside getting high, too. Like paper, rope, and medicine. And it was once said that it's safer than most foods we consume on a daily basis.
I'm okay with weed, there's no deaths from marijuana on record ever, but I'm not okay with cocaine, meth, etc.
