I still have trouble overlaying shading atop coloring when they're both gradients. It's just something that gets muddled.. something I'm doing wrong. Oh well, it came out decent in the end.
There's actually a lot of cool shit about this monster if you can visually get through it. the most major change I made was having the grippy things be anthers or some other kind of interior flower thing, because having them attached to the outside of the petals like in the game doesn't quite work
