I'm having problems with the extra shine step (with the green dots) it doesn't look like yours, they're just dull blue streaks, they aren't shiny at all o_0

Great tutorial, i collected it.
It works fine, but I messed it up a bit since it's my first time trying something like this so sun comes from totally different spot. Meh, it still looks nice
I'm gonna credit you when I finish the underwater scene. I think ppl will love this tutorial.

DEAR GOD!!11 Your tutorial is great really I think I'm just tardo when it comes to Photoshop CS3 they overcomplicate EVERYTHING!!!!!! I can't do it *cries* any hints

I know you posted this forever and a day ago, but I just wanted to say it came in so handy! I drew a merman for a friend and really blow at backgrounds >.> (so much so I usually leave them white) but your tutorial really helped give me a pretty ocean background now I don't feel like the picture is half-assed
