Description This one's for the 's contest: Metroid 25th Anniversary. Wish me luck!
So Samus is joined by some of her oldest, dearest friends for a warm celebration of their good times together.
What's that? Everybody looks a little...different...from how you were expecting, eh? Well, 25th Anniversary, duh! Contest rules say I've got to go old school, yo, and bring a total 80's turf rumble up in yo face.
Or something like that. Actually, I had a lot of fun drawing the old designs, maybe I'll do something like this again.

From a pro like you, I take that as a very honored compliment.
It took me about an hour longer than I thought it would, though, because I couldn't stop looking through every old issue of Nintendo Power I was searching for reference pics in. I kept going, "Hey, I remember that old game! Ooo, never did beat that one; Steve used to have that..." and generally wasting a lot of time.
