Gouache is amazing. You can use it thick like acrylics but dilute it enough and it's like working with watercolours too! It's my fave type of paint. :3

Hasn't Atras been drawing at your place? Surely you've got the URRGGGEEE to draw by now, man! :3

She has been! See the other journal entries: she did Frobin and Katamari art.
I wanna draw bad, but I gotta get the food out of my system before she leaves on Monday.

Then I need to get my book illustrations going with 3 or so every day.
But, I'll probably begin itching to do F'wanky soon enough.
My head is kind of empty at the moment, but there are several old ideas I have rolling around in my head.
The one idea is a huge comic book/strip... so we'll see how well I draw it.
Such a big idea might be done as roughs.

I saw them! The Frobin made me smile so damn hard, she's so talented! :3

Sounds like you'll have the art groove going along again soon, then. Also YES to the comic book/strip idea. Even more so as roughs (as much as I loved finished things, I ADORE rough work - there's so much of the artist's thought process in them that can't always carry over with inks (and colours) sadly).

Most people have amazingly expressive roughs, because roughs are so free and have much potential for the viewer.
Few artists finish roughs with a satisfaction they desire.

I like how I did such broad and silly roughs for ROUGH SEX, but it's such a good idea for sloppy art.
That next idea is 5 times as long, so I just don't have time to finish all that for a silly F'wanky art.

Yiii! My life becomes utter art for the next year(maybe next 4 years), starting Tuesday.
I keep jamming in other desires and am not concentrating on art: piano, slight of hand, cake decor, cooking, writing, remodeling home, learning how to do electric wiring, etc. etc. etc. Now, I want to narrow all that down to just art-piano. While Atras was here I realized I never fully learned songs on piano I wanted to learn years ago. The finger work helps the mind, and I studied piano for years and years in my youth... now I suck because I am old and out of touch with the skill.

And looking on the bright side, now that all that re-modeling is done your hands can fully rest and heal while you work now. X3

haha Thanks. I want to remodel other rooms starting next year, but no hurry, now.
It is good to be done all that stuff.
