in my imaginary interpretation of THOR 2 after the chaos in "the avengers" Loki is not a prisoner...but he voluntarily chooses to remain isolated for his wounded pride XD (???)

I like to believe that whatever they lock Loki up with isn't actually tough enough to keep him bound. But Loki doesn't break out for the same reason's your Loki isolates himself.
