in my imaginary interpretation of THOR 2 after the chaos in "the avengers" Loki is not a prisoner...but he voluntarily chooses to remain isolated for his wounded pride XD (???)

I know that I'm the thousandth person to say this, but the cell is the spitting image of the trailer. Let's just imagine the lighting difference is because the lights are off
