Lovely little tool. Firstly, congratulations on the DD.
Now I haven't tried this out yet (I might have a more extensive look later since I'm doing prints for =lady-maree ) but a couple of suggestions I have are:
1) one that's been echoed by many, is the option to customise the border colour.
2) allow a secondary border to be put in. What I mean by this is for instance if I gave a photo a black background, but wanted to give a thin white box around the photo (not directly around it, a few pixels further out) would it be too much trouble to allow multiple borders to be applied to a piece?
Awesome ingenuity (sp?). Would be awesome to see this be implemented officially in the Basic Prints program.

Yes, a colored border will have to be implemented quickly. I'll get to that next week hopefully. Your multiple borders idea Is an interesting one. I'll see what I can do. In fact, just from typing this I got a couple ideas of how I can do it. I'll keep you posted!

It's not meant to replace photoshop, just make it eaier to calculate a lot of things at once. This program doesn't actually add the borders it just does all the math and provides a preview of what it will look like. In the future I hope to enable the user to send the data to photoshop where photoshop will do all the work of actually adding the borders to the image and saving out the file to a folder. But until then, Deviant Bordermaker is like a calculator. Download it and give it a try. You'll see how this can be handy (and faster).

This will be an easy feature to add. And I already thought about adding it way before submitting it here. But I couldn't really think of a good way to select different colors other than asking people to look up hex codes. But in the next release it will be there. Hopefully with some other things. If you have any suggestions, please let me know. I want this to be a very flexible tool for different people.

Ohhh pls hurry with the black. I only use black or white :flitry:
why, I think a code is just fine.
Suggestion? Here you go:
You know photoshop? There is a thing with which you select a colour out of the painting. AND the same tool also lets you select a colour out of a colourscheme (you get there by double-clicking one of the two coloures in the tool-bar) and yes..include it..and forget ll troubles about the code but I guess it is far more difficult! But I'd say 80% is black or white out there, out of neutrality reasons..

Well I can put in the changes, which is fairly simple to do, it's just i don't really have time this weekend. But, I can help you out a little bit since you really want black!
ok if you open up preview.htm in any kind of web editor (even something as simple as notepad will do) find this line of code:
document.write('
