Other lazy people use them too, but malls have gotten wise that happy not-in-pain customers shop more and that even people with broken appendages have wallets. ^^
going up and down stairs, even a few, in crutches is not a fun experience. Also, several laws in different states require that public place be able to accommodate the injured or the handicapped, so to avoid being fined or sued malls have taken steps. C:
