Description
(Full description back here .)
My Blue Pyro from TF2 costume that I wore to Fanime 2009. You can see the flamethower better here.
If you got pictures of me or any of the rest of my group (Female Scout, really tall Sniper, Heavy with hair) we would love to see them
Flamethower: My friend who was the Heavy helped me make this. (And by "helped" I mean I bought the stuff and handed them to him when he needed them.) PVC pipe, caulk gun, cardboard, shower cord thing that my friend found in his garage, plastic jar, what was once a jar of peanuts, spray paint, duct tape.
Other shots of my costume:
Meet the Pyro
Pyro: Doing it wrong.
Wasn't me.

I plan to do a RED Pyro costume for Otakuthon (Montreal, Canada). And your instructions sure might come handy. Thank you!

Sure. The grenades are just soda cans that I rinsed out and then wrapped in duct tape (ends first, then around).
The back tank is one 2-liter soda bottle cut in half for the ends, and then we didn't have a second one so we just used cardboard to fill in the middle, and then spray painted the end, and wrapped the rest in duct tape. Probably two 2-liter bottles would have worked better, but that's what we had around. The thing on the end is some kind of twisty nozzle thing that was lying around. The actual Pyro tank is a little more complicated than what we made, but it worked.
Hope that helps. Good luck!
